Q: What makes Juices To Glow unique?
Our process is simple. We offer only the freshest local ingredients and we use cold pressed method to squeeze 100% fresh raw fruits and vegetables. We do not pasteurize our juice. Our home delivery service is personal to you, our cleanse will not leave you hungry and our juice are delicious!
Q: What is a Juice Cleanse?
Juice cleanses are used to get the glow back, to be re-inspired, have energy levels you never knew possible, lose weight, and really jump start a healthy lifestyle. When doing a juice cleanse you replace your standard diet with nutrient rich cold-pressed juices for a short period of time (usually 3-7 days).
Fasting has been used for centuries for healing, spiritual practices and longevity. On a Juice Cleanse the body can expel built up toxins while simultaneously absorbing vital (often missing) nutrients.
Q: What is Cold Pressed Juice?
Unlike simple juicing using centrifugal juicers which destroy all the nutrients and enzymes by applying high heat, the cold pressed juice process involves extracting juice from fruits and vegetables through a hydraulic process to ensure that up to five times more enzymes, trace minerals, and vitamins are preserved. The result is a juice that is fresh, nutrient dense, rich in color, and full of flavor. This helps your body to absorb all the nutrients in the purest form possible.
Q: How do I prepare for the Cleanse?
Start increasing the amount of raw vegetables in your diet. Two days before you begin its best to leave meat, dairy and heavy processed foods out of your diet such as breads and pasta. If you drink caffeine it is wise to start weening yourself off a few days prior to cleansing and replacing caffeine with decaf and eventually enjoying herbal teas..
Q: How do I come off of a Cleanse?
Your body has experienced a lot of change over the last few days. To make your transition back to solid foods safely, it is important to focus on fruits and vegetables with high water content, such as cucumbers, celery, apples, melons, and berries.
Q: How long should I Cleanse for?
We generally recommend 3-5 day cleanses to start with. In our experience when cleansing for 5-7 days you start to see deep results. The first 3 days your system has a chance to rest and cleanse. By days 4 – 7 you really go to healing, rebuilding and remineralizing and experiencing a real transformation in energy levels, vibrancy, weight, and glow to name a few. Of course it is important to listen to your body and also what works for your schedule.
Q: How often should I Cleanse for?
It’s really up to you. Some people will commit to one cleanse per month, or one every three to six months, while others do a ritual 1-day cleanse once a week. Whatever your goal is, we recommend incorporating our juices into your daily routine as it will benefit your long term health and wellbeing.
Q:What do I do after the Cleanse?
Many people jump into one of our maintenance or subscription plans to sustain their results and keep their energy up. We recommend for the first week post-cleanse, 1-3 juices per day. After that, at least 1 juice a day is a great way to incorporate healthy fruits and vegetables into your daily routine.
Q: Can I Cleanse while at work?
Yes. However, everyones reaction to cleansing is different. While some people feel alert and energized from their cleanse, others feel more lethargic than usual. You may find it easier to stay busy, or prefer to take this time to rest. Listen to your body.
Q: I am on a Cleanse, and am ready to eat my hand. What should I do?
Drink more water in between juices. Staying hydrated helps to curb your appetite. If you are still starving at the end of the day, add an additional juice or 2 to your daily cleanse regime. Although most cleansers find the juices satisfying, for those new to cleansing or extremely active it is fine to have some fruit or one small raw green salad a day.
Q: Is there a certain time I drink the juices?
Even though each person’s schedule will vary we recommend having a juice about every 2 hours. Reach for a juice anytime you would reach for food.
Q: Can I drink water?
Yes, please do! In between each juice and throughout the day.
We recommend drinking at least 2-3 liters of water daily .It helps to flush out toxins. A hydrated person is a happy person!
Q: Can I drink coffee?
To get the full benefits of the cleanse, we suggest removing caffeine from your diet. Caffeine is irritating and has an inflammatory effect on the body. We want to heal the body during this time.
Q: Can I drink tea?
Yes! Herbal tea is great. Try Pukka Detox or Cleanse teas, also Chamomile or Peppermint. Avoiding caffeine is recommended. This is a time for resting and repair, caffeine can be inflammatory and irritating.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
You’re investing in your health here. Breathing in fresh clean air and avoiding toxins is always best, especially during your juice cleanse. This is the way to create healthy and happy habits.
Q: I’m very active can I still Juice Cleanse?
Juice is indeed a superfood. It can nourish and support you in your every day busy life. Listen to your body when you juice cleanse. If you discover you need a little something more then prepare a raw salad or have some fruit . Make it work for YOU!
Q: Can I drink alcohol while Cleansing?
Q: Are there any detox symptoms?
During a Cleanse, toxins are stored into the tissues and the bloodstream and can make you feel slightly worse at first. But different people experience varying degrees of unpleasantness during a detox, which may include headaches, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, flu-like symptoms, constipation, skin eruptions and bad breath. This period will only last for one to a few days.
Always increase you water with lemon intake if experiencing detox symptoms.
Q: Will I be tired?
Most of our cleansers find they have an increase of energy. Its common to fall asleep peacefully at night and wake up with renewed liveliness. If you do feel sleepy then we suggest taking a nap, meditating, or just having some quite time. Again this is a time for you, so feel free to pamper yourself.
Q: Will I need to wear a diaper if I Cleanse??
Everybody is different. This will depend on your pre-existing level of toxicity. Are you a heavy alcohol drinker? Do you eat processed foods and lots of red meats?
Q: Will I lose weight on juice Cleanse?
This is a nutritional cleanse and designed to give your digestive system a rest and therefore allow your body to eliminate toxins and replenish it with nutrients. However one of the benefits are, that you can lose weight by doing a juice cleanse. The weight you lose will depend on your current weight and the length of the cleanse. Cleansing is a very effective and nutritional way to get rid of those nasty toxins which are stored in fat cells, whilst melting away those extra pounds.
Q: Will I gain it all back once after a Juice Cleanse?
You should see a detox as a new path to your new healthy eating habits and hopefully you can make those changes for the long term. To avoid gaining weight back on you will need to be mindful of what you eat, introduce alkaline foods into your diet and avoid gorging yourself on heavy or processed foods.
Q: Can I workout while Cleansing?
Yes. It is important to move. Sweating helps to release toxins. Some may find their normal moderate-vigorous workout routine to be a bit much. Lower exertion exercises such as yoga, Pilates, walking, or swimming can be a good choice during a cleanse.
Q: Can I Cleanse, if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Not an appropriate time for cleansing but a great time to incorporate live mineral rich green juices and superfood smoothies into your diet. Super baby! However, it is best to consult with your healthcare professional about incorporating unpasteurized juices into your diet while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Q: Do the Juices have to stay cold?
Yes. Cold-pressed juices are not cooked or heat pasteurized and to keep them vibrant and delicious please keep them either refrigerated (ideally) or in an insulated bag with ice packs throughout your cleanse day and consume within 3 days.
Q: Where do I get my protein while cleansing?
All of our green juices plus our Almond mylk supply your body with instantly absorbable proteins. Food that captures the most sunlight contains the most readily available protein. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and green vegetables which are rich in chlorophyll, and almond based mylks are an excellent source of protein.
Q: Why do my Juices/ Mylks separate?
Our juices and mylks are cold pressed and handmade, without any pasteurization or any additives, therefore separation of a juice is totally normal and it is absolutely safe to consume. Before drinking, be sure to give your juice a good shake! Keep refrigerated at all times and consume within 3 days from delivery.
Q: Are your drinks gluten free and vegan?
All of our products are 100% gluten-free and are 100% vegan. No animal products are used in any of our juices or mylks.
Q: Is constipation normal during Cleanse period?
Absolutely. During cleansing time you take out all solid foods from your diet, meaning reduced input means reduce output. It is a great idea to book in for colonic cleanse also, just to get those toxins moving.
Q: Can I order Single Juices or I have to commit to a Cleanse package?

Q: How much notice do I have to give before booking for a cleanse?
Usually you need to make a booking 24 hours in advance for juice cleanses during working hours. For Juice Cleanse and Single Juices please order by 2 pm on working day for your next day delivery. Please contact us if you need your cleanses to be delivered sooner.
Q: Is a juice cleanse for everyone?
Juice cleansing is NOT recommended whilst pregnant or breastfeeding, or people below 18 years old. We also regret that we are unable to deliver to those who are diabetics who are insulin dependent. It’s highly recommended to consult your doctor before starting any type of detox.
